PLEASE During the Middle Ages, the church heavily influenced medieval society. Describe this influence and explain the reasons for it.

Answers

The Church was extremely influential during the medieval ages. They held the ability to disperse information because churches were scattered all over Europe. This enabled their network of monks and priests to share information very fast. Furthermore, they collected taxes from peasants very often in the form of goods (farm produce for example), this made them very rich. They also had control over decisions which different rulers did as they could exile them which wasn't something any ruler wanted.

Answer:

The Church dominated society in every aspect of life. Sacred rituals held significance in personal life, including baptism, marriage, and more. People were scared of going to hell, so they obeyed the church’s every will.  Even the king had to obey the church.

Explanation:

For me, there was a second question attatched to the assignment: "As early as 100 B.C., during the Han Dynasty, Chinese traders were transporting goods along the Silk Road. Under the Tang Dynasty in the eighth and ninth centuries, trade along the Silk Road reached its height. Describe the importance of the Silk Road in the exchange of goods and ideas during this time. Your description should include examples of some of the goods and ideas that moved along the Silk Road and the direction in which they traveled."

The answer to this question is:

The Silk Road traveled from China, India, Persia, and other Mediterranean countries. It was important because they were able to trade and spread many different things including silk, spices, and even cultural beliefs. However, There were also drawbacks to such a large trading route. The Silk Road spread many diseases to the people involved in the trade.

I got 100% on both.

Why did plantation owners prefer white servants and African slaves to American Indian workers?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:  Plantation owners preferred white servants and African slaves to American Indian workers because both white servants and African slaves were superior in numbers to these, since many of them perished, victims of diseases such as smallpox, fever Yellow and cholera among others. Besides the white servants, they were considered as such and not slaves, since they worked for a salary; African slaves were his property and because of their racial status they were considered inferior to American Indian workers whom many masters considered undesirable servants and who were subsequently forced to live in reserves established by the United States government because of their ethnicity.

Usually they were on the opposite side of the indians, and they always had problems
