Ceiling/Roof insulation requires to install thermal insulation of the upper element of the building envelope, which separates heated space from the external environment. These structures can be: flat and pitched roofs or overlap of unheated attic. In pitched roofs it is necessary to provide multi-layer thermal insulation to minimize the influence of thermal bridges (rafters). For roof insulation it is necessary to pay special attention to the arrangement of reliable vapor barrier that would exclude the possibility of vapor moisture accumulation inside the thermal insulation material. Also, the insulation must be reliably protected from the penetration of atmospheric moisture by proper waterproofing.

Please note that the total thickness of the thermal insulation layer for Ceiling/Roof should be at least 200 mm.
